Year 3 enjoyed stepping into the picture to discover how they were feeling, what they could see and hear. They are looking forward to planning and writing their secret diary about a discovery. @LiteracyCounts1
Year 2 have been carefully observing the different parts of flowers this week. We also enjoyed going outside to sketch the parts of different flowers we have growing around our school.

Year 2 have been busy planning a healthy dinner, thinking about a balance of protein, carbohydrates and vegetables to make sure DeeDee gets all her nutrients.
This week we have had 10 eggs arrive in Reception. After predicting what might be inside the eggs. The children were delighted to see our chicks hatch. @Livingeggs
The Flame of Friendship Torch Relay arrived at Aldermoor Farm today on its way around the city in the run-up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Our children received the torch from Corpus Christi pupils.
Year 5 are enjoying the @SKINT2MINT workshop about The Value of Branded Items. We have learnt about peer pressure, budgeting and interest. Thank you Kennedy!
Year 3 are reading Planet Omar Accidental Trouble Magnet in whole class reading. They are thoroughly enjoying the book and want to find more information about the author. @Zendibble
Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed investigating magnets with our STEM visitor Rachel Edwards from #warwickuniversity. We investigated different types of magnets, metals that are magnetic and non magnetic and levitation.
